While coaching and therapy can use similar tools like mindfulness, reflection, and nervous system regulation, the key distinction is that psychotherapy addresses mental health concerns, and coaching does not.
Psychotherapy treats mental health conditions, like anxiety, depression, or trauma, that affect daily life. Coaching helps you clarify goals, build skills, and make intentional changes. While both may use similar tools, the main difference is that psychotherapy addresses mental health, and coaching does not.
I encourage you to outreach and book a time to speak if you want to explore our working together!
The Midlife Program is designed for mothers navigating this phase of life who want support, connection, and practical skills to respond to life with more calm, clarity, and intention. It’s best suited for those ready to explore patterns, roles, and habits, and to practice tools that help regulate the nervous system and build resilience. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy if you are managing a mental health condition.
Midlife isn’t defined by an age in this program. It’s defined by a phase of life.
For some women, that phase begins in their mid-30s. For others, it’s their 50s or beyond. Midlife often shows up when you’re no longer having babies but are raising, launching, or redefining your role with your children. It can be a season where caregiving shifts, identities change, and you find yourself going to more funerals than weddings.
This program isn’t about being at the “midpoint” of life. It’s about being in a moment where the way you’ve been showing up no longer fits, and you’re ready to pause, reset, and move forward more intentionally.
If that resonates, you’re in the right place.
The Midlife Program is a deep, transformative experience. Because it’s designed for meaningful change, it’s important to be ready to fully engage and practice the tools you’ll learn. If you’re curious, the best first step is to schedule a call with me, and we will make sure the program is the right fit for you and go over the details of the investment.
Absolutely! One does not preclude the other. Indeed, those who are or have been engaged in psychotherapy may have insights into their personal experience that will make this program's work and skills accessible and adaptable.
The caveat is that I work with clients distinctly between the two modalities. If you are a psychotherapy client currently, we will not work together for coaching. The opposite is also true. As always, book a call to speak with me directly, and we can discuss more live.
